BAS\u00a0celebrates\u00a0its ninth year of operation in January. The renewal of its team, increase and diversification\u00a0in its\u00a0offer\u00a0and\u00a0prizes won are some\u00a0of the things to highlight in the\u00a0entry of\u00a0this\u00a0New Year.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In\u00a02010,\u00a0BAS was presented to the market as a Law firm with a broad offering of\u00a0innovative\u00a0legal services\u00a0and\u00a0with\u00a0a\u00a0clear\u00a0focus\u00a0on the flexibilisaton of the legal processes in\u00a0Portugal.<\/p>\n

The founding team of partners is\u00a0essentially\u00a0the\u00a0same,\u00a0namely\u00a0Artur Filipe da Silva<\/a>, Cl\u00e1udia Monge<\/a>, D\u00e1lia Cardadeiro<\/a>, Jane Kirkby<\/a>, Marco Real Martins<\/a>, Miguel Salvador<\/a>, Nuno Miguel Vieira<\/a>, Pedro Madeira de Brito<\/a>\u00a0and,\u00a0since 2016,\u00a0S\u00e9rgio Alves Ribeiro<\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0The\u00a0managing partners\u00a0are currently Artur Filipe da Silva, Claudia Monge and Miguel\u00a0Salvador.<\/p>\n

Three years after starting operations, BAS starts\u00a0its operations abroad, developing partnerships in\u00a0Angola,\u00a0Brazil and\u00a0Mozambique,\u00a0in\u00a0a\u00a0joint venture\u00a0with\u00a0Legalline<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02014 and 2015, the team is made more robust with the integration of lawyers Nuno Cadima Oliveira<\/a>, Alexandra\u00a0Almeida\u00a0Mota<\/a>, Bruno Pereirinha<\/a> and Jo\u00e3o Carlos Almeida<\/a>, which increased the firm\u2019s responsiveness in the areas of Corporate Law<\/a>, Labour Law<\/a> and Real Estate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2018 was a very good year for BAS, with its international recognition at the Iberian Business Awards as\u00a0Best Health Law Firm\u00a0and\u00a0Best Lawyers\u00a0in the area of \u200b\u200bLabour Law in Portugal (Lisbon).<\/p>\n

At the end of 2018, BAS announced the strengthening of its team with the signing of two associate lawyers who came to give new vitality to\u00a0the\u00a0areas of Real Estate Law, Corporate Law, Data Protection<\/a> and Immigration Law and Civil Litigation.<\/p>\n

New area of \u200b\u200baction<\/strong>\u00a0and present challenges<\/strong><\/h4>\n

To its several areas of Law, the areas of Sports Law<\/a>, Real Estate Law, Insolvency<\/a>, Banking and Financial Law<\/a>, Alternative Dispute Resolution<\/a> and Intellectual Property<\/a> where added to its services portfolio, and more recently, it started to focus on Immigration Law and Aeronautical Law.<\/p>\n

BAS is thus prepared to meet the new challenges that lie ahead in 2019:<\/p>\n
