Recently we see a different situation. The implementation of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the GDPR has also posed a number of challenges. Also the proposal of law recently approved by the WG of the 1st Commission of the Portuguese Parliament deserve some comments.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The European legislation on data protection and privacy and its application in Portugal&#8221; is the title of the intervention of the president of the APDPO, in the workshop <a href=\"https:\/\/bas.pt\/en\/communication\/news\/registrations-open-for-the-workshop-on-gdpr-implementation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;GDPR &#8211; one year following its Implementation&#8221;<\/a> co-organized by BAS and Conceito, will be held next June 27. See here all the details about this event (link).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>About the speaker Maria Margarida Antunes Ferreira<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Graduated in management by ISEG, Margarida Ferreira attended courses and seminars in Portugal and abroad. She was a guest assistant at ISEG.<\/p>\n<p>In April 1974 she was a member of the Planning Office of the Secretary of State of Commerce.
