COVID-19 is one of the main themes of the new edition of Iberian Lawyer. The publication includes, among other articles, the presentation of the Simplified Lay Off Guide recently launched by BAS.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Iberian Lawyer asks Portuguese and Spanish law firms how they are dealing with coronavirus within the global emergency scenario. Among other issues, they talk about legal impact, Cybersecurity, and smart working as well as extraordinary support measures for maintaining employment contracts in a business crisis situation. This edition also counts with the guide developed by the BAS Labour Law team that aims to explain the conditions for its application, the procedures, and the effects of this exceptional and temporary regime to mitigate the effects of the business crisis resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, namely with regard to employment.<\/p>\n
