BAS debates restructuring processes in webinar on Labour Law

At a time when many businesses seek to restructure their workforce by creating cross-border synergies, it is extremely important to know the rules that apply in each country and the particularities of the different legal systems. This is the debate proposed by the new series of Webinars on “Labour Law in Europe”, organized by the Boyes Turner lawyers’ association, in the United Kingdom, the first one will be held on May 15th.

Following the autumn edition of the European Webinar Series, which focused on disciplinary procedures, a new online seminar on Labour Law is scheduled for May. In this second series of webinars will be discussed restructuring processes (collective redundancy/termination of employment/revocation agreements) in the 13 European jurisdictions, with the participation of specialist lawyers in this area of ​​practice from each country.

The first webinar will take place on May 15 and will be attended by the three countries of Southern Europe – Portugal, Spain and Italy. Alexandra Almeida Mota, BAS’s specialist lawyer in the area of ​​Labour and Social Security was invited to represent Portugal. On this occasion, Iberian restructurings and cluster movements in southern Europe will be some of the topics addressed.

This is an event primarily targeted at managers and all HR professionals with responsibilities for HR management at European level.

  • 22 May – Denmark, Sweden and Ireland
  • 5 June – France, the Netherlands and England (UK)
  • 12 June – Belgium and Germany
  • 19 June – Poland and the Czech Republic
