In the context of the declaration of a global pandemic and the evolution of the outbreak of the new coronavirus in Portugal (Covid-19), BAS – Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL, decided to implement a set of measures in order to combat the transmission of Covid-19 and to promote the safety of its team and those with whom we can contact, family, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Therefore, BAS will keep its services fully running through remote work, privileging contact by telematic means, such as videoconferencing (Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp …), conference calls and / or email.

The effort that BAS has been making on new technologies assures the conditions for continuity and guarantee of the quality of its services through this route, responding to the challenges posed by clients.

The adoption of the remote work model that was BAS decided to implement will not affect the commitments made to its clients and other stakeholders.

Regularly, BAS will monitor the evolution of the public health situation in order to reevaluate the circumstances and the maintenance of the remote work model as a vector of social responsibility.

The current public health emergency calls for the adoption of responsible, diligent and drastic measures. We are convinced that acting in this way we will contribute more actively to minimize the spread and impacts of the outbreak by Covid-19, ensuring the safety, in the first line, of those with whom we usually contact and, consequently, of everyone.
